Finished reading and to be read

Finished the fire next time by James Baldwin and started notes from the underground by dosteyevski. Fire next time really demonstrates that things change but remain the same. In the wake up hands up don't shoot, we see from this work that police brutality and intimidation are commonplace in the Afro experience. The books touches on race and religion in America. James Baldwin had a unique voice from an intellectual point of view. His comic is so critical today. I wonder who are our great cultural  commentators? Chomsky? Who are the black voices? Maybe that's a question worth exploring on my part.

On the train to work.  More of the same, I imagine. Vegas seems so far away hut the fatigue is now.
