I'm in NYC for an IT meeting at Jobs First. First impressions, there are many  more people in Penn station than l remember. Yet, I run into a colleague from work as I emerge from my train from Boston as she is waiting for a train to DC.

I'm hesitant about notifying people about my meeting as it may create stops along the way. When I'm away from this place, I yearn for its vibrancy and people. When I'm here, I seek peace and quiet. Such is life! 

I sit here in the LIRR headed to Queens for a quick family visit. A night of work awaits...
