Where did January go

Hello world, it's me, Myriam. I thought I would be more actively engaged. But what had happened was... I finished my first class toward my doctorate with an A: enrolled in my second class. Traveled to D.C., NYC, North Carolina, Milwaukee.... attended my nieces' christening which was good, awkward and weird. Best part is that I actually spent time with her. Held her, babysat and played with her. My mom was super ill- it was scary. Did not spend 1x1 time with my brother... I think that's all over with at this point. Happy for him and wish him well, he bought me really nice earring for xmas. Overall nice time. Only weirdness was Nyas aunt in law who sucked me in with a compliment then said I reminded her of Issa in insecure.... it was all good. Now I'm getting ready to travel to Denver with Kevin - after he lost it on Casey for forgetting our travel date. She was to watch Kirby on our behalf but got the weekends wrong. He has to be fake and walk on eggshells with his kids like my mom with anyone associated with Jason. My mom bought the baby paper stuff for her first bday but then it was an issue cause she hadn't talked to the baby's mother first. It's funny how peopl can be. There civility- say thank you. No need to make an issue out of it. I get really hurt and pissed of when people think they can treat my mother badly... in a way they wouldn't tray their own mother. Point of this is, people are grateful when they lack. People are mean and insecure. Moving on and focusing on work, 40240, grad school and that's it. Finally I hired doggy vacay to watch Kirby for a tiny bit. Hope he does well.
