Toronto Day 2

Begins with a hangover- I think. But we woke up around 7:30. Leave the hotel at 9:30 am for breakfast on yonge. I had a smoothie, one egg and toast. My husband had a more traditional 2 eggs, potatoes and bacon. After breakfast, we make our way to Queens Park and University of Toronto for some sight seeing. After which we head over to Kensington market for more sight seeing and lunch. We ate at amazing salad where I had Tum yum soup and a salad followed by dessert at a gelato cafe. 6.5 miles later we headed back to the hotel for a nap from 2 pm to 5pm. Around 7 we head to dinner back at the Ritz - too much Jamaican food for me. I had ackee and salt fish. I need to cut out spices and clear out. After dinner we head to Adelaide hall to see several bands. The first was Sweet and low down. Pretty good musicians. The second band was Texas Kings. Writing the blog as im watching the band - guess this is country rock??? Yikes - ok a little different from the prior band. But I guess this is all a lead up to the the main act- oh Geronimo. So Texas Kings was a rock band and lead singer was crazy and awesome. Great rock, southern rock... Great musicians! Now we're watching lost cousins - very sophisticated musicians... Can't figure out the genre - maybe indie, alt rock, jazz or alternative- great over all. Now it's time for the main band- album release party- so now it's finally time for Oh Geronimo. Hope they are good and worth the wait.

From good to better to best!!!
