Review My Pet Dragon
This weekend was spent at Tommy Doyle's in Harvard square. We started the evening with chicken tenders and fries, which I might add was quite tasty. The portion sizes were moderate and we were able to share with a couple of beers.
The night started with My Pet Dragon whose set I thoroughly enjoyed. They reminded me of No Doubt but with good vocals. The lead singer was outstanding as well as the drummer. They had a keyboard player that also incorporated some traditional Indian moves. Her back up vocals were not the best but she added a great deal to the overall performance.
Members: Todd Michaelsen- Lead Vocals + Guitar + Trumpet // Reena Shah- Vocals + Percussion + Keyboard // Mario Padron - Bass // Rajeev Maddela - Drums //
Sounds Like: Muse, Flaming Lips, Arcade Fire, The Smashing Pumpkins, Coldplay
Label: Gimme That Sound Productions
